1. James Shen and Joanne Qian
James Shen is VicePresident of Qualcomm, in charge of venture investment in China. He and his team have made investment into more than 40 startups for the past few years, including Xiaomi, ThunderSoft, CooTek, SenseTime and Mobike, which are“unicorn” (valuation exceeds $1b). James is interested in independent filmmaking. James is one of the elders at Capital Community Church. Jame's wife, Joanne Qian, is actively serving in Bible Study Fellowship ministry. She is also leading a bible study at home every week. Joanne is a writer. Both Joanne and James have been speakers and volunteers of FamilyLife for 6 years. They have been married for 26 years and have two children, who are 21 and 17 years old.
2. Gary and Evelyn Sun
Gary Sun is Principle Director of Microsoft China Cloud Group in charge of Cloud Technical Operations and Support. Gary has been with Microsoft for more than 22 years where he has held key roles in Asia Pacific, Greater China Region and Corporate before coming to Asia in 1999. Gary loves to play golf and has great passion in education where he also serves as Board of Trustee in Hope International School. Evelyn Sun previously worked as flight attendant for China Airlines for 8 years as well as a music teacher at the YAMAHA Music Institute. Ever since their children were born she has been a full-time mother. Gary and Evelyn have been married for 23 years. They have 2 sons, Andrew (22) and Bryan (20). Gary and Evelyn have been involved with FamilyLife China as speakers for 3 years. They are committed to sharing their life journey with other families.
3. Will and Suzy Brown
Will and Suzy are the Directors of FamilyLife Beijing. They have served the Chinese comunity in Taiwan for 22 years before relocating to Beijing last year. They have a passion for building strong marriages and families for the kingdom.Will has his MA in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and Suzy is currently working on her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. They have 4 children, 1 son-in-law, one godson, and one puppy.
